Aha! It's been a painful 3 years of university and I'm finally finished. Doing an honours year next year, so not that through with uni yet. But over these 3 years of uni, a lot of memories will be stored away, locked up and thrown somewhere in the garage until they are needed again.

 

I remember quite vividly, in my first year of uni. I had physics lab with a guy named "Henry" which I knew since high school. And the physics demonstrator was this rally old guy, who talked in a very slow manner - in which old professionals seem to talk. Anywho, the demonstrator was marking off the attendance sheet and his called out "Henry" and my friend amde himself present. The demonstrator had looked taken aback. D:

 

Demonstrator: "What kind of Asian parents would name their Asian son, Henry?!"
Henry: ".... What about the name CHRIS?!"

Me: "...Huh?"

Demonstrator: "Chris is fine... but henry? That's an Anglo name!"

 

I can understand what the demonstrator was getting at, it's quite rare to find an asian named henry, although still not that rare.

 

I am waiting for the day that I find an Asian named Shane. :D
